The Bessemer Public Library Foundation invites you to its Annual Black-Tie Gala, themed “Lights, Camera, Action – Take 2”. Enjoy an elegant evening of fine dining, live music, and entertainment, along with a Cocktail Hour from 6:00pm–7:00 p.m.—a great chance to mingle and connect before the main program begins.
The Gala takes place on Friday, September 19, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. at the Bessemer Civic Center, and will feature Sherre Davis-Hood, Home Depot District Manager and Bessemer native, as the Keynote Speaker.
This special evening celebrates the vital role the Bessemer Public Library plays in our community’s growth and lifelong learning. Proceeds from the event will support its mission to enrich the lives of community members through knowledge, learning, and access to information to children, adults, and seniors alike.
