The Pride of Mississippi is proud to present the 2025 All-South Marching Band!
Perform with the Pride of Mississippi marching band during halftime and in the stands during the September 13th home football game! Be part of the action as our Golden Eagles take on the App State Mountaineers!
Participants will rehearse on The Pride of Mississippi's beautiful practice field, perform with The Pride of Mississippi at halftime, and perform with The Pride of Mississippi throughout the game while seated with the band in the stands!

Please note that registration begins at 10:00 am at the southeast entrance of the Payne Center. Rehearsal for Drumline, Colorguard, Dance Team, and Twirlers begins at 10:30 am, and rehearsal for all Winds begins at 11:00 am.

Parking: Please note the designated drop-off (secret phrase is "All-South Marching Band") and parking locations - you will not be able to park in the drop-off lot (Lot #16) or in the lot adjacent to Pride Field (Payne Lot). Read here for more details:
Drop-Off: Enter MK Turk Circle Lot # 16 from West 4th Street - secret phrase is "All-South Marching Band." Drop-off on the East side of MK Turk Circle - at Beach Volleyball courts. Then circle back around to exit on Montague. You may NOT park in the circle - this is a reserved lot and you will be towed at your expense. *Buses - please unload quickly and refrain from idling to help avoid track blocks.
Parking: Circle back around to exit on Montague and park on the west side of campus - Ross Boulevard North Parking lot. *Buses - Bus parking in Water Tower lot (east on West 4th Street, adjacent to Hillcrest Parking Lot).
Parent or Adult Chaperone:
Parents and adults who register and purchase a "chaperone" ticket are expected to accompany their child or students for the duration of the day. These chaperones will enter the stadium with the band and sit in the assigned seating with their participant. Students or adults wishing to attend the game but not chaperone should contact the USM Ticket Office to purchase general admission tickets.

What to wear:
- All-South shirt - provided to you upon arrival
- Athletic/running shoes - no sandals
- Shorts of any dark color or shade
- Sunglasses
- Hat
- *Drum Majors and Colorguard - same as above (All-South shirt and dark shorts)
- *Twirlers - Rehearsal: shorts and short-sleeved shirt or All-South shirt and tennis shoes/twirling shoes. Performance - costume, tights, twirling shoes, hai,r and makeup
- *Dance Team - Rehearsal: dance/athletic gear of your choice. Performance: performance outfit of your choice.
What to bring:
- Your full instrument/all equipment - including reeds, mouthpiece, lyre, neck strap, drum, harness, drumsticks, baton, mace, flag, hair, and makeup, etc. *Please note that we will not be able to provide any instruments or accessories
- Print and bring your own music for halftime and stands, including lyres and FlipFolders
- Sunscreen
- Water bottle
- *Backpacks are not allowed inside the stadium, but may be left in Mannoni Auditorium to retrieve after the game.
