About this event

Participate in the 7th Annual Airport Loop & Recreational Bike Ride to support the WLCVTA! You can bike the 4, 10, or 20 mile routes. The 2025 ride is held in memory of WLCVTA Founder and Former President Leonard Stringer.


  • 8:30 a.m. – Registration/Meet & Greet
  • 9 a.m. – Advanced Bike Ride Begins
  • 9:10 a.m. – Recreational Bike Ride Begins

Even if you don't ride, you can support the WLCVTA, explore the future Vandalia Trail route in the area, and learn more about the proposed greenway and trail at the community tables. Participants will meet at Bridgeport Central Baptist Church, located at 9039 W Washington Street in Indianapolis.

Purchase your ticket by or on September 22 to receive a T-shirt!

Ticket is required to participate. All participants participate at their own risk. If event is cancelled, purchased tickets will be honored at future event date.

Airport Loop Advanced Bike Ride White Lick Creek & Vandalia Trail Alliance Route


10–15 mph speed required in contained police-escorted group, several notable hills, includes more industrial areas of airport. For 20 miles, add Recreational route on N. & W. Perimeter Roads.

No speed requirements, scenic and flat course all on shoulders on W & N Perimeter Roads, 10-mile Loop riders can add miles with these routes.
