The day begins with a memorial service where each child’s name is read aloud, followed by a 2-mile walk symbolizing the steps they never got to take. Whether your loss is recent or long ago, this event honors their memory and offers comfort, community, and hope.

What should I know before attending?

Feel free to bring water, sunscreen, and comfy shoes. The event is family-friendly and open to all ages. Light refreshments, and restrooms will be available. Seating is limited, so please bring a lawn chair of blanket for comfort. You can walk as much or as little of the 2-mile route as you wish.

What is the event's refund or cancellation policy?

Thank you for supporting the Walk to Remember and the families we serve.  As a nonprofit, all registrations and merchandise purchases are non-refundable. If you're unable to attend, your contributions will still make a meaningful impact on our mission and ongoing work.

Where do proceeds from the event go to?

Proceeds from the event benefit Springfield Angel of Hope, NFP, St. John's Hospital SHARE program, and Springfield Memorial Hospital's Perinatal Program.

You can support the Walk to Remember by registering, purchasing merchandise, or making an optional contribution through our Eventbrite page.Simply select the “Donation” option during registration to give an amount of your choice.Every dollar helps us honor these babies and support grieving families.
