How do I buy a ticket for the event?

Accepted Answer

Tickets will be available through Eventbrite or www.PataskalaCookieWalk.com,  starting at 9am on Saturday, November 30, 2024, while they last. Please do not purchase tickets from any 3rd party! One ticket per family, and select the GREEN or RED route.

Where should I park?

Accepted Answer

The Pataskala Lions Club is not responsible for parking at the event, and it is limited. Please legally park in any public area, and be respectful to the residents in the area. It is not necessary to walk the route in any particular order so feel free to start where the route is closest to you.

Question 3

Is the event handicapped accessible?

Accepted Answer

The route is a mix of businesses with a downtown building and outdoor booths, who do their best to set up outside. If you come across a stop that is too difficult to access please ask for help! NEW THIS YEAR, the Licking Co Board of DD will provide a handicap full mobile restroom.

Question 4

Where are the restrooms?

Some of the businesses located in the area may open their restrooms, and there are also portable restrooms at the north and south ends of the route. We ask that our guests be courteous and help keep the restrooms clean.

Where does the event line up/start?

Accepted Answer

The new format of the event does not have a line to start the event. Families will pick up their tote bags on Thursday 12/5 or Friday 12/6 at the Pataskala UMC from 6pm - 8pm. You do not need to visit the stops in any particular order, and your boarding pass/map will help you find all the stops!

What food trucks / restaurants will be at the event?

There are restaurants located downtown and there will also be 5-6 food trucks. In the Cookie Walk Magazine you will find a dining guide, which will provide a list of the options with menu and pricing.

Who does the event benefit?

Accepted Answer

This community event is presented by the Lions Club of Pataskala. 100% of the net proceeds (after expenses) are split between the Storehouse for Jesus Food Pantry and Pataskala UMC Kids Eat Free program. See the Cookie Walk Magazine for more info about these great organizations!

How do I sign up to be a Cookie Walk Stop?

The link to register as a Cookie Walk is: https://forms.gle/ywPumXFwtyDb7NYB6. Registration to be a Cookie Walk Stop for this years event ends on November 1st. To get information about how to sign up for future events, please email us at MainStChristmasPataskala@gmail.com.

Question 9

Who can help you if you have questions at the event?

Accepted Answer

Our event volunteers will be wearing blue volunteer aprons. The Pataskala Lions will be located at the North end of the route, at the intersection of Front Street and Main Street. We may not be able to answer questions on our Facebook page because we will be busy running the event.

Question 10

What if I have food allergies?

Accepted Answer

Each stop is asked to have an ingredients list on hand for their cookies. Stops may volunteer to have allergy friendly options. There is no way to guarantee how many stops will provide this, and we are not responsible for validating accurate representation of ingredients.

Question 11

The event is sold out, and I didn't get a ticket. Can I still attend?

Accepted Answer

Yes, there is plenty of room and activities to do at the event. Walk around, get some food, interact with your neighbors! Stop by the Lions Trailer at the Main St and Front St intersection to see if we have extra tickets.
