Milliken Momentum was started in 2023 as a part of our Supplier Diversity program. This event is held annually to promote partnerships between businesses and to provide an opportunity for small and diverse-owned companies to network with Milliken, our Tier 1 suppliers, & other select organizations.
Attending provides our small and diverse-owned companies the opportunity to engage and network with Milliken Sourcing and connect with 60 of Milliken's Tier 1 suppliers. Educational sessions will also be available for participants.
Milliken & Company fully funds this event. There are no fees for our suppliers, customers, or participants.
All activities will be held on-site at Milliken Headquarters located in Spartanburg, SC.
As a participant, it is suggested that you bring business cards (either printed or electronic) and if possible, a capability statement that you can share with our suppliers or other businesses.
Yes, each participant will receive a boxed lunch to enjoy on our beautiful campus.
At the end of your registration form, you should indicate whether you have dietary strictions (Y/N) and Milliken will contact you directly to accommodate your request.
The Guest House is a refined hospitality venue located on the Milliken & Company property. It contains 26 overnight rooms with spectacular views and dining options from our Executive Chef and staff. It's a unique experience you won't soon forget!
The Milliken & Company headquarters is located on a 600 acre nationally recognized arboretum. This tour will be guided by our local arborist providing insights to the plants and trees on-site. This will be a walking tour. Please wear comfortable shoes to enjoy this experience.
There will be two blocks of sessions from 10-10:45 and 11-11:45. Each block of offerings will repeat during the second wave. You can only participate in two sessions or tours on the day of the event. Spaces for sessions/tours are limited and are first-come first-serve.
The educational offerings will be held in the Milliken University classrooms on campus. Signage and Milliken associates will be staged to assist participants on the day of the event.
Internal teams review various data to determine which suppliers, customers, or organizations would be best suited to attend this event. These companies span various commodities and encompass a blend of direct and indirect suppliers to Milliken.
