2023 RIFMA Annual Meeting & Conference
The Rhode Island Flood Mitigation Association (RIFMA) is gearing up for our Annual Meeting & Conference in 2023 on Thursday, May 25th, from 8:00 am-4:30 pm at University of Rhode Island’s Center for Biotechnology and Life Sciences. This year’s theme is “Flooding, Public Perception, and Disaster Reform” (as flooding intensifies, public perception shifts and drives policy change). We are excited to welcome Claire Jubb, AICP, CFM, as this year's keynote speaker! Coming from Florida, she will share lessons in resiliency against natural disaster and post-disaster recovery.

Call for student poster abstracts
Posters allow presenters to discuss their research, designs, or tools with professionals in floodplain management. Posters should contribute to the theme of floodplain management and resilience. Posters may share findings from field investigations, modeling, public outreach or other research topics. Posters will be on display in the main reception area from 8:30 AM through 4:30 PM.
