USRowing's National Learn to Row Day (LTR Day) will be held Saturday, June 3, 2023, with a theme of "Opening the Boathouse Doors". Join Humboldt Bay Rowing Association for this fun event. Sessions will be held throughout the morning. Sign-up for one of the listed times to get in a boat.  Five seats per boat are available. Must be at least 12 years old to participate.

You'll briefly learn about the sport of rowing, boat safety, and proper rowing technique, and then you'll be in a boat and on the water!

Please wear close-fitting clothing in which you can move comfortably and wear layers because of our unpredictable weather. Water socks, tennis shoes, or similar footwear are recommended, and wear or bring socks. We also recommend that you bring water, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

The "big" boathouse, where the event will be held, is located between the Samoa Bridge boat ramp and the Adorni Center on Waterfront Drive in Eureka (see map). It's light brown with reddish trim. Now with a rowing mural on the side facing Waterfront Drive! Several of our older boats are stored outside on the northeast side of the boathouse.
