Please join the Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, MassHousing and MassDevelopment for our first Developers of Color Summit, Shifting the Paradigm Through Equity and Access. The summit will provide a timely opportunity for emerging developers of color to learn about private and public capital resources, and capacity building practices that can be leveraged for business growth. The summit will capitalize on opportunities that generate mixed-income housing and create commercial spaces that spur vibrant regional economies.

Our financial systems are riddled with structural inequities that have had long-term impacts on where investments are made and who can access capital. The summit aims to help address the stark representation crisis that exists in our real estate development industry and seize upon anticipated increases in housing and commercial development across New England to ensure that our region can approach this work inclusively.

During the summit cross-sector partners will highlight private and public resources available for mixed-income housing and commercial development and best practices that can be leveraged for business growth. Summit highlights include:
