The Global Surgery West Coast Hackathon is back!

This year, building on the precedent set last year by its inaugural iteration, the University of California, Irvine chapter of the Global Surgery Student Alliance (GSSA) will again host the GSSA West Coast Hackathon! We have a number of distinguished speakers, judges, and exciting problem pitches to solve this year. We hope you can join us this year as we attempt to "hack" some of the most pressing challenges in global surgery. We hope to assemble students from all backgrounds and training and encourage participation from medical students as well as public health, business, law, and engineering students.

Thanks to the generosity of the UC Irvine Office of Global Engagement, UCI Division of Vascular Surgery, and AMSG, we are pleased to announce the following team prizes:

First Place Pitch - $400.00

Third Place Pitch - $100.00
