The 6th annual Game Devs of Color Expo is dedicated to amplifying the creative power held by people of color in games. Join us for an online celebration of diverse voices. You’ll meet a variety of amazing creators from around the world and learn how to build and market games players love.

GDoCExpo is a multi-day festival that includes:

• A world-class conference of talks, panels, Dev Interviews, and networking sessions (9/23-9/26).
• Gradient Convergence, our Steam event for getting your hands on some games and demos right now, featuring discounts and broadcasts from the devs (9/23-9/27).
• The GDoCExpo Direct, the latest exclusive news about upcoming games, directly from the developers to you (9/23, 12PM Eastern Time).
• The GDoCExpo Party, an online gathering in our own virtual space, featuring tarot readings by Jameela Dallis / Ophidian Tarot (9/25).
• Celebrating and awarding a total of $150,000 USD in development grants to creators with incredible potential (9/26).

FAQs

I'm not a person of color. Can I attend?

Yup! We welcome all people to this event.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

We welcome people of all ages! However, we ask that people under 18 attend with their parents, guardian, or a chaperone.

Do I need to be in the game industry to attend?

No! We welcome people from outside the industry. Whether you're a fan of games or just curious, you'll have a blast at our event.

Is this year's event online-only?

Yes. Every part of this year's event is online. Even the party is digital-only.

If I can't watch all the talks, will I be able to watch them later?

Yes, your ticket includes the ability to rewatch any talk, panel, or interview at any time in our online event space. After several months, we will begin to publish videos one-by-one on YouTube. Buying a ticket is the best way to access everything as soon as possible.

I bought a ticket. How do I log in?

Search your inbox for an email from Swapcard, our online event platform. If you haven't received an email yet, try opening the schedule and logging in/creating an account using the same email you used to get your ticket.
