Enter a team in Bacon Bash Texas 2021!  The bacon stakes are higher than ever - our total payout is $10,000!  First place winner is guaranteed a $4,000 payout and will have their photo & winning recipe featured on the backs of 40,000 packages of Pederson's Natural Farms bacon, distributed nationwide!

Compete against over 40 other teams to see who makes the best bacon dish in the land!  Here are the basics:  Pederson's Natural Farms gives you 15 pounds of bacon, and you make whatever you want, as long as it's got that bacon in it.  We've seen everything from Bacon Funnel Cake, Bacon Wrapped Pork Tenderloin, to Bacon Bananas Foster.  The options are endless and all bacon dishes are judged equally.  All teams are judged around 3:00 p.m.  Top ten teams make it to our Final Table Judging, which happens live, on the main stage at 6:00 p.m.  Cash payouts for top five teams, and the top, non-placing backyard chef!

Ryan Jackson Memorial Pork Butt Competition has an additional entry fee of $50.  Must bring your own butt. 100% cash jackpot prizes to the top three teams.

Reminders for 2021:

• All Team Entries will now come with 6 Team Members.  You can add an additional 2 team members for $25 each, for a max team of 8. 
• 20x20 cook spaces will be enforced to the best of our ability.  If you need more space for your team, you can purchase a larger cook space during registration (limited quantities available).
• Early Bird Team Entry will be open ONLY to 2019 competing teams until April 25, 2021.  Entry fees will be 50% off until that time.  Entry fees will return to the regular price on April 26, 2021, which is when 2021 Team Entries will be open to the public.
• All food (excluding food for the Ryan Jackson Memorial Pork Butt Competition) can be prepared at home prior to the event if you choose to do so. 
• The first FIVE teams to PAY their 2021 entry fee will be guaranteed a cook space in the shade.  All other cook spaces will be assigned when teams arrive for check in the weekend of Bacon Bash.

Bacon Bash Texas is a 501c3 organization.  Proceeds from the event benefit children with Type 1 Diabetes and Niki Warms the cold, a Cranfills Gap local organization that provides blankets, coats, and other winter gear to homeless across Texas.  The event has really grown into a fun, foodie event that raises money for children with Type 1 Diabetes and Niki Warms the Cold.  Over the last ten years, we've been able to donate over 515,000 to our supported charities!
