Thanks for your interest in Thesis and Dissertation Boot Camp. The Boot Camp commences from 9:30am to 4:00pm Monday-Friday for a full week of intensive writing and learning about the writing process. You'll work with a group of fellow graduate students (divided by Ph.D. and Master's students). Registration is capped at 40 graduate students, and we expect spaces to fill up quickly. This event is for Georgetown Graduate Students only!

Please note: This is the registration form for the March 9-13th Boot Camp.

Registration Fees for the Boot Camp are $40. This money will be put towards providing lunch and snacks for partcipants each day of the boot camp.

Deposit. The Drill Instructors will work to make Boot Camp productive, and they are also responsible for ensuring that you meet the expectations of the Dissertation and Thesis Boot Camp by holding onto your $50 deposit. We do not want you to forfeit your deposit. In fact, our funding model assumes that nobody will forfeit. However, should you consistently be late or disruptive or miss a day of Boot Camp without the explicit approval of your Drill Instructor or the Associate Director of Graduate Enrichment and Communication (for a documented medical emergency or other unforeseeable situation), then you will forfeit your deposit. We intend this to be a tool to help you guarantee your own participation, and our hope is that we return all deposits to all participants. We want to make sure you understand that the deposit is not merely a symbolic component but is a real measure to hold participants accountable for their actions and commitments.

2. Show up to Boot Camp on March 9nd at 9:30 AM with a $50 deposit, payable to the Georgetown University. This deposit is refundable and is meant to act only as an incentive for you to complete the camp.

Additionally, we regret that we are unable to offer refunds of registration fees for students who withdraw after March 2nd.
