Ray Krone

On April 29, 2002, Ray was exonerated after spending nearly eleven years in prison for a homicide he did not commit, including 2 years on death row. He was the 100th person who served time on death row to be exonerated. He now resides in Tennessee with his lovely partner, Cheryl Naill. Ray continues to tell his story and speak across the nation with the goal of urging states to abolish the death penalty. As the founder of Witness to Innocence, he is devoted to improving the criminal justice system that failed him.
