Every year since 1987, we have looked forward to connecting our Catalyst community at our Conference and Awards Dinner and sharing our vision to accelerate progress for women through workplace inclusion.

Given the growing concerns around COVID-19 and as a reflection of our values, we have made the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the 2020 Catalyst Awards events. We are disappointed, but the well-being of our employees and the Catalyst community is our top priority.

We continue to celebrate this year’s Award Winners—Deloitte, Medtronic, and Unilever—for their outstanding initiatives to make the world more diverse, inclusive, and equitable. We will provide a series of virtual engagement opportunities to showcase the winners, share remarks, learn best-practices, and participate in conversation about the themes we had planned to delve into at the Conference. Thankfully, technology makes it possible for us to come together virtually. Please stay tuned, as we will provide details soon.

Breakout One: Now Is the Moment to Close the Gender Gap in Corporate Leadership

At Catalyst, we’re all about identifying barriers preventing women’s advancement and providing actions to dismantle them. While there is increased attention on closing the pay gap by ensuring everybody is paid equally for work of equal or similar value, additional gaps in women’s representation in corporate leadership and equal access to career opportunities also exist. Addressing all of these issues will build and sustain inclusive workplaces and keep the gaps closed. This session will explore these gaps - what they are, where they come from, and the actionable solutions to help close them.

Breakout Two: Now Is the Moment for Tomorrow: Women and the Future of Work

The future is now. Workplaces are being redefined and transformed by rapid shifts in technology, talent, and expectations. We must harness this change to create better workplaces where women and undertapped talent have full and equal opportunity and value. What skills are needed and how do we effectively ensure we are developing skills today to create a more equitable future of work for all?
