The 2019 NOAA Emerging Technologies Workshop presents:

Science on a Sphere

Science on a Sphere is a breakout session demo being offered to current registrants for the 2019 NOAA Emerging Technologies Workshop. Like the workshop, the demo is free of charge - but seating is limited. Your general workshop registration does not guaurantee you a seat for the Science on a Sphere demo; so if you wish to attend, you must reserve your seat by using this online signup form.

There is no fee, and no paper tickets. However, as the Science on a Sphere theatre is located in a federal government building, you will need a special guest pass to enter the wing of the building where the demo will be held. The information you provide will be used to generate your guest pass, which you may pick up at the Security Desk in the NCWCP lobby on the day of the demo.

There are FOUR demo sessions available, and you will have to select one. All demos will be held during the 90-minute lunch break, which runs from about 12:00 noon to 1:30 pm on both days of the workshop. The demo will last about 30 minutes, and there will be two demos held each day:

Day 1 (Tue, June 25) during the FIRST half of the Lunch break
Day 1 (Tue, June 25) during the SECOND half of the Lunch break
Day 2 (Wed, June 26) during the FIRST half of the Lunch break
Day 2 (Wed, June 26) during the SECOND half of the Lunch break

In order to allow as many people as possble to participate, please limit your seat reservation to a single demo session.
