Be among the FIRST of the season to see the Austin Trail of Lights.

Run, jog or stroll a 2.1 mile, untimed course – starting at the iconic Zilker Holiday Tree and moving through the beloved Austin Trail of Lights in your best holiday costume. Then stick around for the ultimate after party celebration – the Finish Line Festival – located in the heart of Zilker Park.

CHOOSE YOUR START TIME

All wave participants will receive one (1) complimentary beer or hot cocoa after crossing the finish line within the Finish Line Festival.

WAVE 1 – 6:00pm start time (SOLD OUT)

• Lead The Pack! Recommended for those looking to run the course. Wave 1 starting line will remain open until 6:15pm, so get there early to experience all the fun.

WAVE 2 – 6:30pm start time (SOLD OUT)

• Families with young kids love this option. Still early enough to Fun Run, party at the Finish Line Festival and still make it home for bed time. Wave 2 starting line will remain open until 6:45pm.

WAVE 3 – 7:00pm start time

• Make a night of it! Not too early. Not too late. Happy hour, then Fun Run... we don't judge! Wave 3 starting line will remain open until 7:15pm.

WAVE 4 – 7:30pm start time

• Bring up the rear for an extra beer! Wave 4 Fun Runners receive TWO complimentary beers or cocoas at the Finish Line Festival. Wave 4 starting line will remain open until 8:15pm.

NOTE: We encourage all Fun Runners to arrive on time for their wave, allowing extra time for traffic. However, if you arrive late for your wave start time (Wave 1, 2, or 3) and the wave has closed, you may participate in a later wave.

REGISTRATION PRICING *

Prices increase to Regular pricing October 16, or when quantities sell out. Prices will increase throughout the season!

• Regular Adult Registration = $37
• Regular Youth Registration = $20
• VIP Adult Registration = $75 ***
• VIP Youth Registration = $35 ***
• Parking = $15 per vehicle (race not included)
• Finish Line Festival ONLY pass = $15 per person** (race not included)

*Wave registration quantities per wave are limited at the current available price. Once quantities at each price level are met, pricing increases for that wave. Taxes and Service Charges not included.

** Finish Line Festival Pass – Ages 5 and under are free to enter

***Limited VIP Adult and Youth registrations available.

Children 11 and under are eligible for YOUTH registration. Any children with feet on the ground will need a Youth Registration. Toddlers and infants in strollers are complimentary. Complimentary t-shirts are only offered to paid registrants.

How to Register as a Team: Click "Create A Team" (or "Join A Team" if your team is already created), before adding the registration type to your cart. Team members may register for any registration type (Adult, Youth, VIP Adult or VIP Youth). All team members must register for the SAME start time, or wave.

Have a team of 15 or more? Get 10% off your Fun Run Adult registrations! Contact us to receive your 10% off group discount code before you register.

• Teams of 15+: Qualify for early Packet Pick-up, team name printed on Fun Run bib (*Must register by Friday 11/8 to have team name printed on shirt. The deadline to include your team name on shirts and bibs has passed.)
• Teams of 36+: Qualify for early Packet Pick-up, team name printed on Fun Run bib and on the back of event t-shirts! (*Must register by Friday 11/8 to have team name printed on shirt. The deadline to include your team name on shirts and bibs has passed.)

PARKING PASSES

Parking Passes are available per vehicle online in advance, granting you access to onsite lot parking. Fun Run registrations DO NOT include onsite parking. Parking Passes do sell out quickly, so don’t wait to purchase parking!

Parking Passes are sold specific to your Fun Run registration wave.

WAVE 1 & 2 PARKING: Lots will open for Wave 1 & 2 Fun Runners at 5pm.

WAVE 3 & 4 PARKING: Wave 3 & 4 Fun Runners can gain access to parking lots at 6:30pm

FINISH LINE FESTIVAL (ONLY) PASS

Want the Fun without the Run? Finish Line Festival (Only) Passes allow access to meet friends or family members after they cross the finish line.

• Access to Finish Line Festival and Expo through separate entry to enjoy entertainment with family and friends
• Cheer on friends & family at the start line
• Finish Line Festival ONLY ticket holders may NOT enter the 2.1 mile Fun Run course, including the Austin Trail of Lights

Finish Line Festival access opens at 6pm, and the entrance is located across Barton Springs Road along Stratford Drive.

Children ages 5 and under receive complimentary entrance into the Finish Line Festival.

T-SHIRT INFORMATION

All Fun Run registrants receive a complimentary commemorative 2019 Austin Trail of Lights Fun Run long-sleeve cotton blend t-shirt included with event registration. After adding registrations to your cart, you will have an opportunity to upgrade to a performance long sleeve, for a $10 fee.

VIP Adult Registrants automatically receive a complimentary upgraded performance long-sleeve t-shirt option, included in registration costs. No upgrade necessary for VIP registrants.

For registrations after 11/29, t-shirt inventory may be limited, and specific sizes may not be available. You will receive your event t-shirt at event Packet Pick-up. An alternative t-shirt pickup time will be open the week following the Fun Run.

PLEASE NOTE: The Austin Trail of Lights Fun Run will take place rain or shine. Because of the logistics of planning for a race of this size, we cannot offer refunds for any reason. In the event that weather is severe enough to create an unsafe environment for participants, organizers may cancel the event with no refunds issued.
