Celebrate the women of DePaul at the 2018 St. Louise de Marillac Women of Spirit & Action Awards!

The DePaul Women's Network (DWN) and the Office of Institutional Diversity and Equity (OIDE) invite DePaul faculty, staff and students to the 14th Annual Women of Spirit & Action Awards Ceremony on November 8, 2018. Breakfast will be served, while we hear from a keynote speaker and honor the recipients of the 2018 Women of Spirit and Action awards.

For this event, we ask faculty, staff and students to recognize a modern-day Louise in our DePaul community, a woman who exemplifies the St. Louise qualities of spirit and action. Though the award honors DePaul women, we encourage all members of our university community to nominate an honoree for this award. Do you know a modern-day Louise? About St. Louise
St. Louise de Marillac was a wife, mother, teacher, nurse and social worker. She lived her life intensely and enthusiastically and was a woman whose quest in life was to do the will of God with deep trust in Divine Providence. A trusted administrator and faithful co-worker with St. Vincent de Paul, St. Louise is foundress of the Daughters of Charity.
