Special Keynote Speakers
Special keynote speakers will be the Benham Brothers. Former minor league baseball players turned real estate professionals, David Benham and Jason Benham are nationally acclaimed speakers who talk about their faith, pro-life values and their personal sacrifices and lessons learned facing a culture that has grown unfriendly to conservative values such as the sanctity of human life.

The Memorial Service
The Master of Ceremonies will be Mike Griffin, Public Affairs Representative for the Georgia Baptist Convention and senior pastor of Liberty Baptist Church in Hartwell, Georgia. Don’t miss it!

Events include a pro-life prayer service led by Bound4LIFE, Atlanta at 11:00 am; praise and song with worship artist Kurt Scobie at 11:30 am; a testimony of abortion, adoption and reunion by special guest Bette Noble, followed by the keynote address by the Benham Brothers.

The Georgia March For Life
After the memorial service, thousands of pro-life Georgians will then join in a one-mile silent march against the tragic loss of life since Roe v. Wade at the 2017 Georgia March for Life beginning at 1:00 pm.

In the days and weeks ahead, please gather friends and family members to join us at the 2017 Georgia March for Life. Be counted and REGISTER as one of thousands who cares enough to come to Atlanta to silently pray and walk through the streets of Atlanta as we remember the millions of pre-born babies lost to abortion.

The Georgia March For Life is a rain or shine event, there will be no cancellation due to inclement weather.

PARKING** AND DIRECTIONS

For the Capitol and Liberty Plaza - Liberty Plaza is located at the corner of Martin Luther King and Capitol Avenue across from the Capitol

**Please note - No matter which direction you arrive from, you'll need to park off site and then walk to Liberty Plaza. The closest least expensive parking can be found at the Pete Hackney Parking Deck at 162 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive SE Atlanta, 30303

Parking: Buses and 15-passenger or larger vans are allowed to park on the west side of Washington Street in front of the Capitol on most week days. Capitol events or security threats may make this space unavailable. In those cases, buses will be rerouted by Capitol security.

Parking fees vary by lot. Certain lots may be closed due to the legislative session.

The following lots are always open to the public if spaces are available:

--Pete Hackney 162 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive Atlanta, GA 30303** closest to Liberty Plaza
--Steve Polk Plaza Parking is located on M.L. King, Jr., Drive, one block from the Capitol
--A surface lot is located on Memorial Drive, one block from the Capitol
--Underground Parking: A parking garage is located on the north side of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, two blocks from the Capitol

From the South:
Take I-75/85 North to Exit 245 (Capitol Avenue).
At the bottom of the exit ramp, continue straight through the stop sign.
At the first traffic light, turn left onto Hank Aaron Drive.
Liberty Plaza will be approximately one mile down on the right.

From the North:
Take I-75/85 South to Exit 248A (Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive).
Bear right onto Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive.
Liberty Plaza will be on the left just before you get to the Capitol.

From the East:
Take I-20 West to Exit 58A (Capitol Avenue).
Turn right on Capitol Avenue.
Liberty Plaza will be approximately one mile down on the right.

From the West:
Take I-20 East to Exit 56B (Windsor St./Spring St./Stadium).
At the third light, turn left onto Central Avenue.
Go to Mitchell Street and turn right.
Liberty Plaza will be two blocks down and directly in front of you at the traffic light.

Pete Hackney Garage: One local parking garage is the Pete Hackney Garage at 162 Jesse Hill Jr. Drive SE, Atlanta, GA 30303. It is opposite the back side of the Georgia State MARTA station, 2 blocks from the Capitol

Directions: Take the MLK exit off 75-85. Take the first Right (Jesse Hill Dr) and drive under the tubes and MARTA tracks overhead. There are two garage entrances in that block—take the second one. The cost for daily parking is $5 and payable upon entry.

1. Will the event be rescheduled due to inclement weather?

The Georgia March For Life is a rain or shine event, there will be no cancellation due to inclement weather.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

There are no ID or minimum age requirements. The Georgia March For Life is a family-friendly event permitted by the City of Atlanta who will provide security at the Memorial Service and March. Small children must be in strollers or under close supervision.

3. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

4. What can I bring into the event?

Signs are permitted at the event but they must be hand held and are not allowed to have sticks or posts attached. A personal picture ID is required in the event you intend to enter the State Capitol Building. The event will be conducted at Liberty Plaza and in the public right of way along Atlanta city streets.

ACCESSIBILITY TO THE CAPITOL

Parking: Spaces for visitors with disabilities are located on Mitchell Street. Vehicles may stop briefly at the loading zone to drop off passengers.

Entrances: Visitors in wheelchairs may enter the Capitol from the loading zone off of Mitchell Street and from Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive via ramps which provide access to the first (ground) floor.

Elevators: The elevators are located on the east and west sides of the Capitol.

Restrooms: Wheelchair accessible restrooms are located on the first, third and fourth floors of the Capitol building. Facilities for ladies are located on the first floor, inside the Capitol Avenue entrance and on the third floor in room 342. Men's facilities can be found on the first floor and on the fourth floor adjacent to the House Gallery.

Water Fountains: Accessible water fountains can be found near the first floor restrooms on the east side of the Capitol and inside the Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive entrance.

Telephones: Both a TDD and a Volume Control Telephone are located on the first floor of the Capitol in the restroom area.

Galleries: Wheelchair spaces are provided in the Senate and House galleries and most legislative committee meeting rooms are accessible.

Capitol Grounds: The paths leading to points of interest on the Capitol grounds are paved.

Security: In compliance with security regulations, all visitors must enter the Capitol through a metal detector; the X-ray machine must examine hand-carried items. No weapons, including pocketknives, are allowed in the Capitol. These items should be left in a vehicle because security is not able to hold these items. In addition, off-duty law enforcement officers will not be allowed to carry their weapons while they are inside the Capitol.
