About this event
- Event lasts 2 hours
This 2-hour Yin Yoga and Acupuncture event designed to bring you into deep, nurturing rest, supporting emotional balance, nervous system regulation, and connection to your heart space.
Rooted in the wisdom of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), this session focuses on the heart meridian, the energetic pathway associated with the fire element and the emotion of joy. In TCM, the heart governs our capacity to feel joy, experience love, and live with emotional harmony. When out of balance, this meridian can manifest through anxiety, overwhelm, stress, or sadness.
Through somatic movement, long held yin postures, and acupuncture, we’ll work gently to bring the heart meridian back into balance, supporting both emotional and physical wellbeing.
What to Expect
We’ll begin by welcoming you into a cosy, calm space where you’ll have a moment to settle in. We’ll start with gentle introductions so everyone can feel grounded and connected in the room.
From there, you’ll be guided through the following flow:
Heart Meridian Talk: Emma will offer a brief overview of the Heart Meridian through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine and how it relates to emotional wellbeing, joy, and balance.
Somatic Movement (5 mins): A short, intuitive movement practice to shake off the day, regulate your system, and prepare the body for stillness.
Yin Yoga (50–60 mins): A guided floor based sequence targeting the heart meridian. Expect supported, long-held postures to create deep opening and rest.
Acupuncture + Extended Shavasana (20–30 mins): You’ll be invited into full rest while receiving acupuncture points tailored to support heart energy, nervous system downregulation, and energetic balance.
You’ll leave feeling more open, softened, and grounded with tools to continue your heart centred healing beyond the session.
