Event description

A FREE 2 hour transformational workshop for female identifying folk and NB folks, ages 18+. This workshop will take participants on a journey toward radical self-acceptance and uncovering their true potential. The goal is to set new intentions about how we feel, think, and speak to ourselves and others.

Note: this is a second offering of the workshop, NOT a continuation of the first workshop - however, if you attended the first one and would like to come again please feel free.

Participants are offered the opportunity to engage in exercises in which they explore their internalized beliefs about beauty and self-worth, often perpetuated by the media. They will be given the tools to understand that these negative beliefs have a detrimental impact on their viewing of themselves as purposeful and worthy.

Interactive exercises include:

  • Dismantling the “beauty myth” and exploring media literacy
  • Changing the self talk from criticism to compassion
  • Committing to being kind to ourselves, and therefore each other
  • Seeing and experiencing ourselves as worthy from the inside out
  • Recognizing our contributions through conscious activism

*Please note that this curriculum is geared towards cis women, but all folks who feel like they can resonate with these topics are welcome*

- we hope to hear your thoughts, ideas, and feedback on altering this curriculum to better serve our communities

LIMITED SPACE! Signing up through eventbrite is HIGHLY encouraged!
