     This exciting two-day workshop suitable for complete beginners introduces the student to the art of alginate life casting with plaster bandages, material preparation, material mixing, application and cleaning of the finished lifecast.

You will also learn how to prepare your model before lifecasting as well as how to work with the model to assure their comfort, confidence, and collaboration in the lifecasting process.   

WORKSHOP LANGUAGE: This workshop is held in both Swedish and English, dependeing on the attendees.

WORKSHOP DETAILS:

You will be working in groups of 3 and experience every aspect of life casting a face. You will take it turns to experience each of the roles as the model, life caster and assistant.

If you have got a beard/moustache, you will need to shave prior to the life cast, preferably the night before.  

If you do not want to have a life cast done of yourself, please try to arrange for a model or get in touch ASAP, and we can try to arrange an alternative.

The process of lifecasting is very messy, so please wear old clothes.

Workshop places are limited to assure that each student and group is provided personalized support and advice.

Tickets are non-refundable due to material cost in preparation for the workshop, however if you do need to cancel, we will do our best to book you onto a future workshop. In the event that we need to cancel the workshop, full refunds will be issued.
