Step into the streets where the colonial history of Mexico first began as you admire the famous architecture + festive decor. We'll pass the illuminated Bellas Artes and stroll down the vibrant streets of Centro Histórico. We'll explore the Metropolitan Cathedral where you’ll learn how ancient Aztec history merged with Spanish Christmas customs.

We conclude at the center of the celebrations in the Zócalo. You'll witness one of the world's most monumental holiday displays with massive Christmas trees, giant light mosaics and an illuminated tunnel. Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral

Wander the largest cathedral in the Americas with stories about the Spanish colonial origins and mysterious history of this enigmatic church.


Zócalo

Explore one of Latin America’s largest holiday light displays with endless photo ops in Mexico’s most famous plaza. You'll have great views of the National Palace and grand colonial buildings. We will also visit the artisanal Christmas market where your guide can provide translation support for any purchases.

We'll meet at the "fountain of Mercury" in Alameda Central Park, across from Cancino restaurant which has an outdoor patio in front of a big white building. The fountain is on Calle Doctor Mora.

We'll end the tour in the heart of the historic center, you'll have plenty of dining and shopping options close by.
