Digital badges are a type of digital credential. They are virtual representations of achievements, skills, or competencies an individual earns through educational programs, training, or other activities. Digital badges can be integrated into a professional portfolio, resume, and added to LinkedIn.

How do I earn the digital badge for this series?

Accepted Answer

A participant who attends all sessions (whether in one semester or spread across semesters) will have the privilege of earning a Quality Essentials digital badge. Ex. A participant who attends sessions 1, 3, and 5 in Fall 2025 and attends sessions 2, 4, and 6 in Spring 2026 may earn a badge.

What is the OST Quality Essentials Digital Badge?

Accepted Answer

This Digital Badge is a credential awarded to participants who complete all sessions in the OST Program Quality Essentials Series (across one or multiple semesters). It demonstrates your commitment to building high-quality out-of-school time programs and your understanding of core quality practices.

Can I register for the remaining sessions in this series?

Accepted Answer

Registration for each session opens approx. one month before the session date. This allows participants to register closer to the session and helps ensure those who sign up are able to attend. Registration announcement information is in the Overview Section.
