Join us Thursday, March 5 and Friday, March 6, 2026, at the UGA Griffin Campus for two days of cultivation insights, cutting-edge research, and connection with Georgia's most passionate mushroom community. The Symposium will feature expert-led presentations, hands-on demonstrations, and practical sessions covering mushroom cultivation, research advancements, and real-world applications for growers and enthusiasts alike. TIME: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Doors open at 8:00 a.m. for attendee check-in

LOCATION: UGA Griffin Campus Student Learning Center, 1109 Experiment Street, Griffin, GA 30223

Parking available in the Visitor/Event Parking lot located near the UGA Griffin Main Entrance off of Experiment Street.

  • STANDARD - Two-Day pass($100) - register between Saturday, Feb. 7 - Wednesday, Feb. 25 Includes everything in the Early Bird package
  • ONE DAY OPTIONS ($65) - register until Wednesday, Feb. 25 - Thursday, March 5 only or Friday, March 6 only
  • NOTE - Two-day registration offers the full experience of the Symposium and the best value
  • EDUCATOR or STUDENT ($75) - register until Wednesday, Feb. 25 - Full two-day access at a reduced rate for current students and educations. Valid student/educator/school ID required at check-in .

Your registration includes:

  • Full Session Access - attend any session across all three tracks, both days. Mix and match sessions based on your intereest. The schedule is designed to let you customize your experience.
  • Lunch and Breaks - Lunch will be provided both days and coffee/bottle water/snacks at every break. Vegetarian options available.
  • Networking Opportunities - Structured breaks designed for connection. The Exhibitor Hall stays open throughout and the Mushroom Market will be open on Thursday, March 5th.
  • Exhibitor Hall and Mushroom Market - Meet equipment suppliers, educational organizations, and Georgia growers. Browse fresh mushrooms from local cultivators at our outdoor market.
  • Event Materials - Name badge, printed schedule, and any speaker handouts or resources.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES:

  • Early Bird deadline Thursday, February 6
  • Standard registration Saturday, February 7 - Wednesday, February 25
  • One Day registration deadline Wednesday, February 25
  • Educator and Student registration deadline Wednesday, February 25

CANCELLATION POLICY:

  • Full refund minus processing fees - Cancel 30 days (Tuesday, February 3) prior to the Symposium
  • 50% refund minus processing fees - Cancel 14 days (Thursday, February 19) prior to the Symposium
  • No refund if cancel 14 days or less (Friday, February 20 - Thursday, March 5)

PAYMENT & CONFIRMATION

We accept major credit cards and debit cards through our secure registration system. Payment by checks are accepted but must be received in our office no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, February 23, 2026. You will receive an email confirmation immediately after registration from Eventbrite. A detailed attendee guide with parking, schedule, and logistics will be sent approximately two weeks before the event.
