Service Dog Intermediate Public Access Workshop
Overview
Ready to give your service dog real-world public access practice?
This hands-on, guided workshop is for owner-trainers who want confident, reliable public access skills—without guesswork or trial-and-error.
Join us for a Public Access Training Experience starting at World Market (Topsy Lane), where we’ll practice inside multiple real stores and finish with a structured restaurant settle during lunch.
This is the practice most service dog teams need but struggle to safely get on their own.
What you’ll practice
- Calm, controlled heeling in busy stores
- Ignoring people, food, smells, noise, and carts
- Doorways, thresholds, check-out lines, and transitions
- Restaurant manners + under-table settles
- Focus and confidence across multiple environments
Structured. Supportive. Real-world.
Who this is for
- Service dogs in training
- Owner-trainers wanting real public access practice
- Dogs with solid basic obedience ready to advance
- Handlers preparing for a Public Access Test
Not suitable for dogs with aggression or severe reactivity (message us for other options).
