Spartanburg Prostate Cancer Support Group

Join us at Gibbs Cancer Center - Spartanburg or online, for learning opportunities and time to talk with fellow cancer patients and survivors. Our support group is a safe place to discuss your cancer diagnosis and what you are going through.

This informative and supportive session will be focused on pelvic floor health for men impacted by prostate cancer. Dave Balzer, DPT, an experienced pelvic floor therapist will discuss how pelvic floor therapy can improve quality of life before, during and after treatment. Dave will be discussing:

-Understanding the pelvic floor and its role in bladder, bowel and sexual health

-Common pelvic floor concerns after prostate cancer treatment

-How pelvic floor therapy can help with urinary and bladder control post-surgery

-How mobile pelvic floor therapy might work for you

In-person and virtual options available for patients, survivors and caregivers.
