-"Once Upon A Time" Beginners Sign Language Class Winter 2026

Class Meeting Dates:1/10, 1/24, 1/31, 2/7, 2/21, 3/7, 3/21, 3/28

- Class Time : 10 am- Noon

- Instructor: Alan L. Sherman, B.A.

- Cost: $40

- Goals of class:

1. Develop the ability to communicate through American Sign Language using creative "signs" and "fingerspelling".

2. Develop basic conversational skills. learn to introduce oneself, ask and answer personal questions and discuss general topics.

3. Gain awareness of Deaf culture

Enrollment Policy:

- Students who are not officially enrolled in the course by the start of the second class meeting will not be allowed to attend the session.

- Classes are designed for ages 14 years and up. HOWEVER, younger students may be considered if they are mature enough to participate independently. If the child is not ready to engage on their own, then we kindly ask that a guardian accompany them in the classroom to support their learning experience.
