This season, the Civic Center transforms into a sparkling winter ice rink. Whether you’re a first-time skater, or a seasoned glider perfecting your turns, we welcome skaters of all ages and abilities and offer rental skates, helmets, skate aids, and a 4,500 sq. ft. outdoor ice rink  

In between laps, drift over to our rink-side concessions and warm your hands with rich hot chocolate and winter treats. Savor tasty snacks and hot, seasonal menu items perfect to keep you refreshed.   

Gather the family, bundle up with friends, plan a date night, or let the kids enjoy a memorable winter evening.   

Whether you come for the skating, the holiday spirit, or simply to sip hot chocolate and hang out with friends, the Commerce City Winter Wonderland Ice Skating Rink invites you to celebrate the season and enjoy skating under the stars.

Skating is scheduled in timed 90-minute sessions. Your ticket grants access to the rink for the designated session only. Please arrive 15 minutes early in advance for check-in and skate fitting, as late arrivals may lose skating time.

Code of Conduct & Skater Responsibilities

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, please review and follow the guidelines below:

• Skate at your own risk. All skaters are responsible for their own safety and behavior while on the ice. • Follow all instructions given by rink staff at all times. • Please skate in a counter clockwise formation, following the directions of the skateguards. • No pushing, racing, horseplay, roughness, or intentional contact is permitted. • No stopping, standing, or sitting on the ice surface unless necessary. • No food, drink, cell phones, cameras, or headphones are allowed on the ice. • Do not carry children while skating. • Parents and guardians must supervise children at all times. • Skate aids are available and must be used responsibly and courteously. • Guests must wear skates to enter the rink surface. • Do not enter the ice during resurfacing or maintenance. • Report injuries or unsafe conditions to staff immediately. • If you cannot maintain safe control, please exit the ice calmly and carefully. • Failure to comply with rink rules may result in removal from the facility without refund.

By participating in ice skating activities, all guests acknowledge inherent risks associated with ice skating and accept personal responsibility for their safety.

All guests are encouraged to review the following ticketing policies prior to purchasing to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all skaters.

• All tickets are valid only for the specific date and session time selected at purchase.
• All participating skaters are required to complete an acknowledgement of risk waiver
• Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, including for late arrival, change of plans, or unused sessions.
• Skating sessions operate on a timed basis. Entry is permitted only during the designated session, and guests must exit the ice at the end of their session.
• Please arrive 15 minutes in advance of your session to allow time for check-in and skate fitting. Late arrivals may lose skating time and will not be refunded.
• The rink is open rain or shine.  Weather conditions such as snow, wind, or cold temperatures will not result in a cancellation or refund.
• In the event of extreme or unsafe weather, mechanical issues, or required maintenance, the rink reserves the right to adjust, pause, or cancel sessions. Any changes will be communicated as promptly as possible. If the rink must close due to one of these reasons, guests may be offered an alternative session time if available. No refunds will be given.
• All guests must comply with rink rules, staff instructions, and posted safety guidelines. Violation of rules may result in removal without refund.
• Capacity is limited for each session to ensure a safe and enjoyable skating environment.
