Join us for a thought-provoking discussion on the role of Asian Americans and access to education. Our speaker, Dr. Janelle Wong, will cover topics ranging from bilingual education, school desegregation, book bans, and magnet school admissions.

Speaker Bios:
Dr. Janelle Wong is an accomplished author and political scientist whose work focuses on Asian American civic participation and political demographics within Asian and Latin American diasporas. She is currently a Professor in the American Studies, Government and Politics, and Asian American Studies departments at the University of Maryland.
