Rosa Diaz de Leon's bio: Rosa, The Goddess, Ceremonialist, cacao keeper, healer and guide who channels energy, sound and touch to help others remember that pleasure is their birthright.

Will Jones' bio: After a lifetime as a worship leader, Will experienced a profound soul awakening to the divine within all of us. He now uses his voice, instruments, and light language to create a sacred field of sound. He guides you to remember how to channel the pure energy of worship to the Divine wherever you resonate with it-within yourself, your partner, the Universe or simply the present moment.

What is Tantra?

Tantra is Sanskrit word meaning “Expansion Tool”. It’s a spiritual practice where nothing is separate from the Divine, including your mind, body, energy, sxx and connections. Nothing is excluded. Tantra also teaches that the answers aren’t “out there” to be found, but rather they have been inside you all along, waiting to be remembered or found.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Parking Requirements: Temple in the Trees is in a residential neighborhood and in order to be good neighbors, we require people to park at a nearby public lot. From there, participants can walk to be shuttled to the Temple. More details in your welcome letter the week of the event.

Will people be disrobed? This a personal preference at your discretion. Agreements will be discussed at opening.

Will there be confidentiality? Yes, and all agreements will be discussed at opening circle of each class.

When do I need to arrive? Please arrive early so we can close the doors promptly at 7:00pm ET. Shuttle runs from 6:30pm to 6:55pm ET.

What should I bring? Bring your curiosity, any comfort items to aide in creating a comfortable place to nest, and possibly some massage oils. Details provided upon registration with welcome email.

What should I wear? Dress in comfortable clothing that allows movement and engagement. We welcome sexy fun clothing that makes you and your partner feel good.

Light snacks are provided.

Lara Blackin

Lara is a Tantric Educator, Sacred Intimacy Practitioner and Visual Artist specializing in therapeutic, sensual and energetic touch bringing aliveness to the art of living and loving. A creative leader and guide who brings multidimensional vision to her offerings, she facilitates the ignition of personal transformation in others and community.

Supporting the curious on their journey toward mindfulness and connection with conscious communication tools, intimacy practices, tantric embodiment exercises, and acclaimed artistry, Lara is a leader in the field of sacred embodiment with over 25 years of professional experience as a 1000 e-ryt Kundalini Yoga Educator and Sacred Sexual Somatic Arts Practitioner.

Lara has a BA in Theatre Arts and creates artistry with ritual, theatric event design, and is know for creating alchemic spaces for authentic self expression. Weaving art, tantra and mindfulness practices, teaching individuals and partners the art of intimacy is Lara’s greatest mission in life.

An herbal alchemist and ceramics artist, she calls upon the elements of nature to create pleasure and harmony. Lara is the owner of Tendrils of Green Tantric Arts and writes beautifully poetic essays and creates erotic art at tendrilsofgreen.com.

Michael is a Tantric educator who is passionate about supporting people on their journey to greater presence, intimacy and pleasure. He is dedicated to helping others reach their highest good, creating community, pursuing bliss and enriching all comers.

As co-proprietor of Temple in the Trees, a sacred space for community tucked away in the forests of Northern Virginia, Michael facilitates tantric learning, monthly men’s circle gatherings, movement classes, meditation, events and play to enable people to connect with others and express themselves in a safe, nonjudgmental environment.
