Since 2008, the Black History Film Festival has entertained Atlanta residents, showcasing a wide range of stories of untold heroes.
Join us for a variety of film screenings over 2 days for the 19th Annual Black History Film Festival in Atlanta. The Black History Film Festival was created by Marvin Arrington Jr in Atlanta in 2008. The festival expanded to Washington, DC in 2015 hosted by Richard Campbell. In 2024, the Black History Film Festival expanded to Miami. This year for 2026, the Black History Film Festival expands to Oakland, CA hosted by David Roach. More information to come.
