About this event

Charity & Causes • Poverty

Now in its 15th year, the Empty Bowl Fundraiser is one of Savannah’s favorite mission-focused events, benefiting Emmaus Housea zero-barrier agency serving individuals experiencing homelessness and hunger. Guests enjoy a meaningful lunch prepared by the Emmaus House culinary team, served alongside a handcrafted bowl of your choosing to take home as a symbol of awareness and compassion.

We are honored to partner with the Savannah Clay Community, Clayer & Co, Savannah Country Day School, and many other independent pottery artists from across our community to make this event possible. Their generosity and creativity bring beauty and purpose to each bowl, reminding us that even something simple can be part of something transformative.

This beloved community gathering brings people together to share a meal, reflect on the reality of food insecurity, and support the ongoing work of providing hot meals, showers, clean clothing, and dignity to those who need it most.
