The Blast on the Bay Songwriters’ Festival 2025 proudly celebrates its 15th anniversary from October 16th–19th along Florida’s stunning Gulf Coast in Port St. Joe. For 15 years, this beloved annual tradition has brought together music lovers and world-class talent in a setting as warm and inviting as the community itself.
This milestone year will feature more than 30 incredible musicians and songwriters direct from Nashville, including hitmakers behind chart-topping songs for stars like Faith Hill, George Strait, Jason Aldean, and Garth Brooks. Audiences can look forward to an unforgettable mix of festival favorites returning to the stage and exciting new voices making their Port St. Joe debut.
Often described as offering a cozy, small-town experience, Blast on the Bay is known for its intimate venues where fans sit just a few feet from the artists, sharing not only the music but the stories behind the songs. The weekend kicks off on Thursday night, October 16th, with the VIP sponsor and artist welcome reception at George Core Park, then rolls into three full days of music across venues throughout Port St. Joe, Mexico Beach, and Cape San Blas. The celebration wraps up in true coastal fashion with the grand finale at the World Famous Indian Pass Raw Bar on Sunday afternoon, October 19th.
Organized and run by the Coastal Songwriters Education Coalition, Inc., a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, the festival continues to partner with civic and non-profit organizations like the Gulf Alliance for Local Arts, the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association, and local schools. These partnerships bring added value through songwriting workshops and educational opportunities, ensuring the festival gives back to the community as much as it entertains.
