Academic Vice President Justin Collings will be our speaker : "A Refining Host for Disciple Scholars: On Becoming BYU."

Each semester, the Honors Program hosts the Disciple Scholar Lecture, a long-standing Honors tradition focused on the intersection of scholarship and faith at BYU. This semester, we are excited to welcome Justin Collings, the Academic Vice President for BYU. His address will on, A Refining Host for Disciple-Scholars: On Becoming at BYU."

Justin Collings is the academic vice president at BYU. Dr. Justin Collings joined the BYU faculty in 2013, when he began teaching at the J. Reuben Clark Law School. He received continuing faculty status at the Law School and was promoted to the rank of professor of law in 2019. Prior to his service as AAVP for Faculty Development, he served from 2020 to 2022 as an Associate Dean at the Law School. From January to June 2019, he was a Fulbright Fellow at the European University Institute in Florence, Italy.

All Honors students and faculty are invited to attend!

Dinner for the Honors community begins at 5:30 pm on the Third Floor of the Hinckley Center.

Vice-President Collings' lecture will follow at 6:30 pm in the Hinckley Center Assembly Hall and is open to the campus community.

Attire is best business casual.
