Tour of the Augustinian Churches

On Wednesday, October 1, 2025, we will host a two-hour walking tour of the Augustinian churches in Rome, including the Renaissance-style Basilica of Saint Augustine with its Mother of the Pilgrims painting by Caravaggio.

Meeting Point: Istituto Patristico Augustinianum, Via Paolo VI, 25, 00193 Rome, Italy Patristic Institute Augustinianum

Note that the Augustinianum is across the street from St. Peter’s Square. Pedestrian and car traffic can make it difficult to get to the site by taxi. If you are taking a taxi, you could get dropped off near the Square and walk from there to the Augustinianum.

Meeting Time: 9:00 am

Cost: $40 per person.

Please wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a water bottle (fresh water is available from fountains all around Rome).

The walking tour takes 2 hours.
