Dear audience,

Please join us — and help us select the winning play!

Our playwrights, actors, and directors will be presenting 7 of the best original plays from over 500 plays submitted — and the winner will be decided by you, the audience.

The winning production will have the opportunity to develop their 15-minute short play into a full production, to be presented and produced by Lucky’s Lighting Inc. and 24 Bond Arts Center at the Gene Frankel Theatre.

The winner will be announced following our final performance on Saturday night, August 23rd, followed by a gala celebration.

These festivals are presented in honor of Gene Frankel’s Summer Festival in August at The Gene Frankel Theatre & Film Workshop, and Gail Thacker’s Shotgun Theatre Festival at the Gene Frankel Theatre — where the audience vote tradition began!

This is our 3rd year of 15 Minutes of Frame, a playwrights’ competition held in August at the Gene Frankel Theatre. We look forward to this year’s competition and to welcoming our growing community.
