About this event

  • Event lasts 1 hour 30 minutes

City Teaching Alliance was founded 15 years ago in Baltimore with a bold vision: to prepare and sustain diverse, effective educators in historically underserved communities. Since then, we've grown into a national organization, but Baltimore remains our home and the heart of our impact.

"15 Forward" is a moment to honor that legacy and look ahead. This special evening will bring together local donors, partners, educators, and champions of our work to celebrate the educators who power change. We’ll reflect on key milestones, spotlight powerful stories of impact, and spark new momentum as we chart a path forward.

Anchored by a fireside chat between CEO Dr. Rahesha Amon and a distinguished guest, the evening will explore the evolution of our work, how Baltimore shaped our approach to teacher development, and what comes next in our pursuit of educational equity.

This event will also serve as an opportunity to re-engage longtime supporters, welcome new allies, and deepen our connection to the Baltimore community.

Attendees will walk away with:

  • A renewed connection to City Teaching Alliance’s mission and our Baltimore roots
  • Firsthand insight into the future of teacher development and retention
  • Opportunities to invest in the next chapter of our work and community
  • Meaningful networking with education leaders, supporters, and changemakers
  • A collective celebration of 15 years of service, growth, and educator impact

Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or are just learning about our work, this event will be an inspiring gathering of people committed to equity, education, and the enduring power of excellent teachers.

We hope to see you there!
