15-Day Hampeq Karpay: Plant Sacrament Shamanic Healer Training
This Plant Sacrament Shamanic Training is a unique opportunity to initiate as a Hampeq, a healer who works with sacred plants.
If you’ve felt the call to work with the sacraments of Mother Earth or to deepen your connection with yourself and everything around you, this retreat was designed for you.
Throughout this intensive retreat, you will be prepared to step into the role of the Missayoq (carrier of the Missa), empowering you to guide Missa ceremonies and other sacred rituals that allow your radiant and healing energy to support those who resonate with your medicine.
The purpose of this initiation is to help you develop the inner wisdom rooted in Allin Sonqo (integrity of the heart) and Allin Yuyay (true knowing), learning through direct experience to create the proper sacred space for profound and transformative healing to occur.
In essence, you will cultivate the personal power and expanded awareness needed to hold space for awakening and deep soul healing—offering these gifts to those who come to you on their path of growth and transformation.
You will also dive into the Andean Q’ero principles of Allin Kawsay (right living), integrating this wisdom through rituals that connect you with the Qhapaq Ñan (the Path of the Righteous) and other ancestral teachings from the Q’ero lineage.
During this training, you will:
- Learn traditional icaros and discover your own voice to create personal healing songs.
- Learn how to consecrate each sacrament properly.
- Master the sacred art of the Missayoq.
- Fully embody the path of the Hampeq, the plant sacrament healer.
The Hampeq is a shaman who works with power plants from nature to access expanded states of consciousness, integrating these realms of knowledge to serve, heal, and support themselves and others on the spiritual path.

Why at Apu Popocatépetl?
In the Andean shamanic tradition, the Apus—sacred mountain spirits—serve as guides for humanity, transmitting messages through space and time to those ready to listen. They are like antennas of Pachamama, offering wisdom to help us live in Ayni (sacred balance).
Each Apu carries a unique spirit, energy, and teaching. According to the Q’ero lineage, the Great Cosmic Serpent—representing the Earth's Kundalini energy—is shifting.
For the past 5600 years, this cosmic energy was rooted in the Himalayas, nurturing spiritual traditions such as Hinduism and Buddhism. Now, the Great Serpent has begun a new 5600-year cycle in the Americas, supporting the rise of the Divine Feminine energy on Earth.
The Root Chakra of this Serpent is now located at Mount Aconcagua in Argentina. From there, it ascends the Andes to Denali in Alaska.
The current energy centers (chakras) of the Earth are:
- Root Chakra: Aconcagua (Argentina)
- Sacral Chakra: Illimani (Bolivia)
- Solar Plexus: Ausangate (Peru)
- Heart Chakra: Popocatépetl (Mexico)
- Throat Chakra: Mount Shasta (USA)
- Third Eye Chakra: Mount Logan (Canada)
- Crown Chakra: Denali (Alaska)
Popocatépetl holds the energy of the Heart Chakra—both of Pachamama and those near her. The mountain’s movements are a sacred invitation to release fear and grief, to open your heart, and to root your awareness in love and clarity.
This is your invitation to awaken the consciousness of your heart and to step fully into the being you came here to become.
