2025 PUPPET FILM SERIES!

The Puppet Film Series is co-presented by Detroit Puppet Company and Cinema Lamont.

Outdoor film screenings are the first four Fridays in August at 8:45pm. Reservations recommended, films are suggested $15.00 each, with 'pay-what-you-can' options, nobody turned away based on lack of funds. Further info, release dates, and ratings are below. All films will be screened at our outdoor amphitheater, 2221 Carpenter Ave, Detroit, 48212.

**WALK-UPS WELCOME, BASED ON AVAILABILITY**

The series is a collection of puppet films with a range of historic and contemporary perspectives on the state of the medium today.

Headphones will be provided for outdoor screenings. All screenings are wheelchair accessible. Popcorn and beverages will also be available by donation. Audience members are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blanket for the outdoor screenings.

Make sure you have selected the correct quantity of tickets as well as the correct day/time option, as there are quite a few different ticketing options.

Online ticket sales close at 12:30 PM the day of each respective screening. We are open to day of walk-ups contingent on availability.

August 1 - 'Memoir of a Snail'(2024, 1 hour and 34 minutes, R)

August 8 - 'Abruptio' (2023, 1 hour and 34 minutes, R)

August 15 - 'Alice' (1988, 1 hour and 26 minutes, UR)

August 22 - 'Legend of Ochi' (2025, 1 hour and 35 minutes, PG)

RAIN DATES: If it rains for an outdoor Friday evening screening the event will be rescheduled for the following day, Saturday at the same time/location, as follows: August 2, 9, 16, and 23. We will email ticket holders and post on our social media if there is a rescheduling.

REFUND POLICY: Ticket holders can get a refund, less any applicable Eventbrite or processing fees, up to 1 day before each screening. No refunds or credit will be granted for cancellations less than 24 hours before each respective screening.
