Join us for a high-energy, welcoming community dance class that celebrates connection, culture, and creativity!
This class explores the roots and rhythms of social dance through the lens of Jazz, Hip Hop, and African dance techniques.
Dancers will learn foundational steps, movement vocabulary, and historical context while building confidence, coordination, and community.
Instructor Nia Lancelin, resident choreographer for NBC’s award-winning series This Is Us, will lead the series, with special guests Giwayen Mata closing us out on August 12th.
*This offering is part of Moving in the Spirit's community class series. Each class is open to movers of all ages, from children to seniors, and families can take classes together.
