About this Class: In our Demo & Dine format, our Scuola Chef will guide you through how to make Busiate Al Pesyo Trapanese and prepare the dish tableside for you to enjoy for dinner.
About this Dish: Busiate is a twisted pasta shape originally from Trapani in Western Sicily and is made with only durum wheat flour and water. Pesto alla Trapanese, the classic sauce for Busiate, is a Sicilian pesto made from tomatoes, almonds, garlic, olive oil, and basil. In this class, you’ll make and shape your own pasta from scratch.
In this Class You Will:
- Learn about the traditions and culture of Busiate and Pesto Trapanese
- Observe as our Scuola Chef teaches the group how to make Busiate Al Pesto Trapanese
- Start class off with a menu featuring antipasto and prosecco
- Enjoy Busiate Al Pesto Trapanese prepared by our Scuola Chef, along with a wine paring
- Finish your meal with a scoop of gelato

- Classes are also suitable for children 8+ who are passionate about Italian cuisine. 15 and under must be accompanied by a supervising adult.
