It’s the debut of Advanced Gil Mantera's Party Dream, where names will be legally changed on stage, launching a brand new era of GMPD.

*We’ve got a lineup change: Grand Buffet is no longer able to join us, but we’re excited to announce the addition of Wave Generators, the new project from Baltimore rapper and podcaster Height Keech (of Height With Friends fame).

DJ Spruce will keep the energy high, spinning before, between and after the sets.

Gil Mantera’s Party Dream is an American synthpop and electronica duo hailing from Youngstown, Ohio. Formed in 1999 by stepbrothers Ultimate Donny and aka Gil Mantera, the band originated from a one-off performance by a group called Party Talk at Cedars Lounge in Youngstown. After the original trio disbanded, Donny and Gil continued as Gil Mantera’s Party Dream, gaining a reputation for their anything-goes live shows .AllMusic+8Wikipedia+8Business Journal Daily+8

Their music blended 1980s-style synth-pop with elements of garage rock and performance art. Known for their outrageous stage antics, the duo often performed in flamboyant costumes, engaging in humorous banter and high-energy dance routines. Gil Mantera’s Party Dream released several recordings, including the albums Bloodsongs (2005) and Dreamscape (2009), as well as the EP Ballerina (2008). Their music was released under labels such as Audio Eagle Records and Psychic Dog Records.
