The Bi Wives Club: A Comedy Showcase

The Bi Wives Club is not just for married bisexual women; it's a comedy showcase for all outsiders who hide in plain sight. There’s nothing interesting about fitting the mold, and the Bi Wives have happily stopped trying.

The show has rapidly become an audience favorite that frequently sells out well in advance. The production is playful, intimate, and reliably hilarious. Our audiences praise the humor, atmosphere, and the show's sense of community and connection.

Hosted by Kris Lantzy, Christen Manville and Kayla McCaffrey, this month's featured comedians include Evan Mills, Kujichagulia Juniper Whitehead, Manny Petty, Elise Fernandez & Quinn James.

Doors at 6pm with a one hour happy hour before our show begins at 7pm! Dorothy remains open after the show until 11pm.

Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. 30 early bird special tickets are offered at $12/ea!

ABOUT THE COMEDIANS AND HOSTS

EVAN MILLS is a Second City Main Stage Alumni, having written and performed in three Chicago Revues, including Do The Right Thing, No Worries If Not and Don’t Quit Your Daydream (A Jeff Award winner for Best Performer in a Revue). He was named as one of the Chicago Tribune’s “Ten Best Theater Performances” two years in a row (2022, 2023), can be seen in the 2023 CBS Showcase, and was named a Just For Laughs New Face of ‘23. KUJICHAGULIA JUNIPER WHITEHEAD is the Queen of Radical Comedy. With a career spanning over a decade, she's entertained the city of Chicago (and beyond) with her comedic and playful storytelling and observations on race, gender, mental health and many other prevalent topics. Her credits include the Laugh Riot Grrrl Comedy Festival (Los Angeles, CA), Midsommarfest (Chicago, IL), Sixth City Comedy Festival (Cleveland, OH) and was nominated "Best of Fest" of the Northwest Black Comedy Festival (Portland, OR). She has also opened for well known acts such as Ron Funches and Marsha Warfield. K.J. Whitehead invites you to learn with her as much as you laugh with her!

Physical, flamboyant and disarming, MANNY PETTY is a Chicago-based Stand-Up Comedian and Musician somewhere between Tom Petty and a Mani-Pedi. A Sicilian former-punk rocker turned house husband, Manny has been featured on WGN TV Chicago Spotlight and has headlined at Zanies, The Laugh Factory and The Comedy Bar. Manny has opened for Rhys Nicholson of Rupaul’s Drag Race Australia, Brendan Scannell of the Netflix show Bonding and was a featured performer at The Loons on the Lake Comedy Festival in 2023 and 2024.

ELISE FERNANDEZ is a comedian and performer known for her magnetic charm and unapologetically clever storytelling. With an effortless ability to turn life’s hardest points into laugh-out-loud moments, Elise delivers performances that are equal parts insightful and hilarious. She has performed at The Green Mill, Steppenwolf, The Fly Honey Show, The Laugh Factory and is so excited to perform for you next!

QUINN JAMES brings a nostalgic yet edgy vibe, blending 2000’s humor with a Gen Z twist. They have performed across Chicago at staples like The Laugh Factory, The Lincoln Lodge, and The Den. Quinn has also brought their flavor of flamboyancy to L.A., Minneapolis, and Madison. Through their physical comedy, and specific point of view, Quinn leaves every audience wanting more. The comedian producers of the Bi Wives Club are three bi wives (not to each other) who perform, celebrate, and promote joyful joke-dense authentic comedy. KRIS LANTZY reliably finds hilarity in everyday life. Tackling topics like queer parenting, having your wife mistaken for your sister, and fancy cheese heists, she's an exemplar of designing and living your best life. KAYLA MCCAFFREY is an actor, comedian, and improvisor as well as a newlywed wife, an inner child nurturer, and a vegan dog mom. Kayla jumps between her too-many roles with ease and throws her whole heart into everything she does. CHRISTEN MANVILLE is a comedian with an unmatched ability to inhabit discordant perspectives with ease and understand the world from all angles. She is as comfortable at an X-rated experimental puppet show as she is at your grandmother’s 80th birthday party. Her comedy reminds audiences that they're not alone in pushing their heavy boulders up their steep Sisyphean hills.
