Come join us at Saint Paul Brewing for a fun and informative tour of our brewery's rich history! Tourguide Jimmy Keebs tells the fascinating stories of how and why William Hamm Jr. was kidnapped for ransom, and what has happened since to become a one-of-a-kind destination for all to enjoy.

Each tour ticket includes a can of Hamm's beer and a ticket for any of many Saint Paul Brewing beers on tap. (Can be redeemed same day or saved for another day.)

We serve food so come for lunch before the tour or stay for supper afterwards. Food can be ordered via QR code with a credit card from any table, indoors or outdoors on the patio and beer gardens.

Parking is free in the courtyard parking lot at 688 Minnehaha Ave E and the East Overflow Lot at 700 Minnehaha Ave E.

This tour is the buzz around town and has drawn people from all over the US and world map.

Organized by

Saint Paul Brewing resides within the original history Hamm's Brewery keg wash house, racking room, horse stables, and carpentry shop. Tour guide Jimmy Keebs presents vivid storytelling of the past and all that has happened over the years here, from the early years to Prohibition to the kidnapping of William Hamm Jr, to other beers brewed here, and ultimately the story of Saint Paul Brewing. Each tour ticket includes a nice cold can of Hamm's (21+) and a voucher for a beer made in-house. The crown jewel is the patio and gardens at the end of the tour, where you can stay to enjoy your beer and a lovely day where "The Land of Sky Blue Waters" slogan was born.
