Join us for the 5th annual MSU Juneteenth Commemorative Celebration on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at the Michigan State University Multicultural Center.

Volunteers are the heart of our celebration, and we invite you to be a part of this special event. Whether you're passionate about history, community engagement, or simply lending a helping hand, we welcome volunteers of all backgrounds and experiences.

Volunteers will have the opportunity to select shift times and may be assigned to a variety of tasks, including setup, assisting with activities, guiding attendees, and more. It's a chance to make a meaningful impact and connect with others in our community.

To sign up to volunteer, please click "Get Tickets" and select your preferred task and shift (you can select multiple). Please note that your support may be requested for a different task, depending on the needs that arise

Photos

A photographer will be taking pictures throughout the event. These photos will be used for future event promotion, annual reports, and thank you messages. Those who will be mentioned by name will be notified. Photography and video recording can occur at programs, where people in the background may be captured on camera. At MSU, we value consent and will be thoughtful in considering the use of such photography, filming and/or recording in any university use.
