Vizcaya Late | Pride Edition

🌈 Celebrate Pride at Vizcaya! 🌈

This month at Vizcaya Late, we’re throwing open the doors for a vibrant night full of creativity, connection, and celebration—all in honor of Pride Month and the beautiful spectrum of Miami's LGBTQIA+ community.

You'll get creative with artists from Buen Provecho Collective (BPC) as you'll collage a portrait of yourself and lend your creation to a community collage that will grow and change throughout the evening with each contribution celebrating queer joy, identity, and connection in all its forms.

Spark up insightful conversations with old friends and new by playing Walls Down, a conversation card game about celebrating individuality and belonging through art and dialogue. New to the game? We've got you! Facilitators will be there to show you the ropes.

You'll have the chance to take a tour of the Main House guided by staff of Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. You'll participate in a discussion about Vizcaya's role in Miami's queer community, from the time it was built in the 1910s until today.

Don't miss this unforgettable evening of art, joy, and community in Vizcaya's Main House with stunning views of Biscayne Bay and the chance to stroll its lush formal gardens. It’s an invitation to get creative, get real, and connect through shared moments of reflection. So bring your friends, make new ones, and join us in celebrating Pride!

DRESS CODE: Guidelines for attire are the same as during a normal daytime museum visit. Full coverage tops and bottoms must be worn at all times. Sheer, see-through or mesh fabrics as well as bathing suit tops and bottoms are not permitted. Close-toed shoes are recommended. For more information, see the Visitor Code of Conduct. • Walls Down is a business dedicated to connection. The team began by creating a 50-question card deck called “Walls Down” and then branched out and started hosting vulnerability activations around Miami. The idea of vulnerability activations stemmed from the card deck, created to foster deeper connection and vulnerability amongst friends, families, and strangers. As the name suggests, their mission is aimed at "putting our walls down" so that we can come together with others and foster more meaningful connections.
