What should I bring with me?

Please bring a mat, towel, water, and any other yoga equipment you may need. The terrace is made of brick so you may want to bring two yoga mats or a yoga mat and towel to make it a bit more comfortable.

What happens in inclement weather?

Class may be canceled due to inclement weather, you will receive an email if class is canceled; on Tuesdays and Thursdays the decision will be made by 2pm, and on Saturdays the call will be made Friday evening.

The museum itself does not have parking but there is plenty of parking in Old Town Alexandria. There is metered parking around the museum. Market Square parking garage is right across the street from the museum. There is free 2hr-3hr parking about 3 blocks north and 3 blocks south of the museum.

Yoga is held on our Magnolia Terrace. When you walk up to the museum follow the brick path to the left. If a staff person isn't at the bottom of the stairs, check in the gift shop door next to those stairs. After check in you go up those stairs.
