Join us for an exciting and energetic dance class that will make you feel confident and empowered! Whether you're a beginner or have some dance experience, these classes are designed to help you improve your dance skills while having a great time!
CLASS SCHEDULE STARTING:
- TUESDAYS 6PM - 7PM TECHNIQUE ALL LEVELS
- FRIDAYS 6PM - 7PM BEGINNER LEVEL
- SATURDAYS 11:30AM - 12:30PM BEGINNER/INTERMEDIATE LEVEL

The Motion Arts Center is located at 217 S Claremont St in the heart of Downton San Mateo within walking distance of shops, restaurants, coffee shops, a movie theater.
There is FREE On-Street Parking after 6pm and in all city-owned parking facilities everyday after 6pm and all day Sundays and on city-designated holidays. Parking garages within walking distance are located at 406 E 3rd Avenue and 400 E. 5th Avenue in San Mateo.
We highly recommend our Heels Technique Class as it is designed for newcomers and lay a strong foundation in the art of dancing in high heels.Each session starts with a warm-up, focusing on essential elements such as proper footwork, impeccable posture and alignment. No prior experience required.
This class is for students with some experience in heels dancing, this class helps bridge the gap between foundational skills and more complex movements.Building on the fundamentals, each week you’ll start with a warm-up and delve deeper into turns, musicality, and weaving through exciting choreogra
This class is geared towards students with experience in heels dancing. You will learn more intricate footwork and turn techniques and dynamic choreographed routines. Emphasis is placed on fluid transitions, enhanced musical interpretation, and the development of your unique dance style.
If it is your first time in heels bring socks and it is suggested to wear stilleto booties open toe between 3.5″ to 4″ heel and with strong ankle support. Bring kneepads and a comfortable outfit, flattering and easy to move in.
