Holding Court is a One Woman Show by actress and comedian Courtney Scheuerman. A true Heroes Journey this is a story of one woman's hilariously poignant path to discovering herself as the hero of her own story.
Courtney Scheuerman
Born and raised in Los Angeles, this green eyed surfer chick earned a degree from UC Berkeley in Theater and Performance Studies.
Courtney began performing Improv comedy with the Groundlings which led her into standup comedy. Her comedy has been featured on NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly, well as Gotham Comedy Live. She tours nationally and has completed 3 international tours for our Military Troops.
She just finished filming Rolling Loud, a Live Nation film starring Owen Wilson. Other films include The Gutter with D’Arcy Carden and Lions Gate, Zburbs'.
She is currently in the works for her own project, bringing her comedy and writing to life with Acting Out, a pilot she wrote with her husband.
Her One Woman Show, HOLDING COURT played to a sold out run in Los Angeles at The Hudson Theater before opening Off Broadway at Theater Row on 42nd St. She is excited to get it back up here in L.A. in 2025!
